I wanna say "It's built and finished"
Well,
The woodworking is completed. And the stain and final coat of Poly ( Both of which are Zar...by Far) finish is done.
So, I've turned the needed measurements over to the resident Seamstress!
And here is the colors and patterns she will use!
The lite green high density foam is what the mattress or pad will be made of
note the satin finish scale!!
The materials on the far left, and far right, are fleece, the others are two are cotton blends for the sheets!
But, today Mrs. Karnuth has been busy in her Laboratory workin soap
here is some of todays creations
Have I mentioned there are a number of different Gift Tins available for purchase? Custom filled with your choice of many different fragrances, Feminine, Masculine, & the always popular UNIsex

Well I will Post the bedding as soon as it is sown up!
Thank You EVERYONE for checking out my progress and or antics! It's been Fun for me to share my trials and tribulations as I struggled through this project!
You guys at work that have been following have been great!

I'm aiming for complete immunity from a scratch or Ding so I proceed with one more thin coat tonight
I will see what it looks like tomorrow and determine whether another coat is needed or not

Night 11 Poly Set1
With the help of my trusty RediHeat Torpedo K1 fired heat generator, I was able to get the garage up to a balmy temp of about 75° F. so on went the first coat of Zar brand Classic Gloss Sheen Polyurethane
From my extremely extensive woodcrafting career, I use Zar finshes...exclusively that's that.
Thank you for taking the time to view this blog, I hope you've enjoyed your stay,
another post to directly follow so don't go to far

night 10 engravement
Well, tonight I was able to break out my Dremel 4000!
Finally, a tool that is not Mrs. Karnuth's!
Yup, this is my Dremel, However, it was a Christmas gift given to me by Mrs. Karnuth. Likely she gifted me this tool with some type of ulterior motive! LOL
I know I mentioned polyurethane coating the cradle tonight, but due to the temperature decline in my garage, I felt it would be best to get some kerosene and strike up the torpedo heater tomorrow, if needed. I thought the low temp may hinder curing and or finish luster

This is the carving/engraving bit I chose to do the work with, I think it is referred to as a # 106

night 9 Monday
This is what stained wood glue looks like...stupid & not correct

The previous pics indicate my attention to detail! LOL Or lack there of!!
I do it nice cause I do it twice?
I had to go back and sand out some deviations, because stain don't stain glue! thats weird!
Now DeJa Vu, Doesn't this appear JUST LIKE LAST NIGHT? No not at all, This is how it should look!!

I know, it's probably real hard to see it, but I'm no wood crafter, now Tim the Tool Man Taylor never would have had to go through this process a second time! Oh well Ya Live & Ya Learn!
So one could say this is almost a reverse instructional blog... how NOT to build something, or at least don't live stream it till you know how it's gonna look!
Oh well,
until next time
Thank you all once again for tuning in
